First edition: 299 + 1 page of amendments, frontispiece of the author, uncancelled library stamp on the front paste down end paper, white decorative vellum boards with gilt armorial crests and title on the upper cover, the boards are soiled and worn, the spine is faded, a good copy.
Inscription on the front free end paper reads: Edward O’Brien 23rd Sept.1907 from General and Mrs Lloyd.
