10 volumes of the 11 volume set bound in attractive red leather with gilt titles, lacking only 'Three Years War' by C.R.De Wet. All volumes in excellent (virtually unopened) condition, one without a slipcase, and another not in original slipcase. This is set #670 of 1000. The volume lacking a slipcase is: 'A Narrative of the Boer War' by Thomas Fortescue Carter, and is in excellent condition except for a stained fore-edge (splash marks).
Contents of all volumes bright and clean, with some volumes' fore-edges slightly spotted due to foxing. Some of the slip-cases are showing evidence of peeling in places. On the whole, an excellent set.
