This the complete set of the standard edition of the First Brenthurst Series of ten volumes limited to 850 copies.

This set comes with many pre-publication brochures, order forms and booklets, including the 16 page booklet by Robert C.-H. Shell:"De Meillon's People of Colour." This is a commentary on the costumes depicted in the third volume in the series by De Meillon.

CONDITION DETAILS: An image is provided of the dust jacket of the Brenthurst Baines folded out showing that its spine has some sun fading and there is a soil mark on the rear side. The remaining 9 dust jackets are in above average condition. An attractive set.
