Small oblong guest book containing numerous signatures including H M The Queen Mother and Princess Margaret on their Royal Tour of Southern Rhodesia and the opening of the Cecil Rhodes Centenary Exhibition in Bulawayo. Book in excellent condition with some minor scuffs. Gilt decoration to front board.
this Royal Tour was specifically scheduled to open the Rhodes Centenary Exhibition in Bulawayo as well as the unveiling of the Fairbridge Memorial. The tour was scheduled for Princess Elizabeth but due to the death of King George VI in February 1952 the schedules were rearranged.
