Reinhard Maack a surveyor in the former South West Africa had in his possession an extremely interesting collection of photographs and sketches of Burshman drawings, which he had accumulated during his time surveying the countryside. Contacted by the author, Maack agreed to put his drawings, sketches and photographs, which had never been published at his disposal.
