Mr. Donald Bain, the well-known South African explorer and big game hunter, had assembled, about May 1936, at his camp, situated at Tweerivieren, immediately south of the junction of the Auop and the [Nossob] rivers, some seventy Bushmen, whom he intended to take to the Empire Exhibition, which was held in Johannesburg from September 1936 to January 1937." - Introduction by L.
