ILLUSTRATED BY EXAMPLES OF EDIFICES ERECTED IN THE EAST.

218 pages, additional chromolithographic title page and 69 plates – 2 double page and 13 are striking chromolithographs, 27 wood engravings in the text, original cloth sides – stamped in gold on the upper board in and blind on the lower – the boards are very worn and insect damaged and the volume has been simply rebacked with a simulated brown leather material, all edges gilt. The frontispiece and title page are lightly foxed but otherwise the contents and plates are in a good state with all the original guards to the plates present.
