Boards have been covered with protective plastic, fastened in such a way as to not damage the pastedowns. Some rubbing to spine. Some foxing to pastedowns, endpapers and first and last pages. Previous owner's signature, and small chips to edges of front free endpaper. Small chips to top edge of half title page. Previous owner's signature to full title page, which is slightly loose. Table of contents is missing a page. Some foxing and light stains to edges of textblock. A well bound copy.
