Cornelius Vijn, a Hollander of 23 years of age was a trader in Zululand during the Zulu War. The private journal of Cetshwayo's Dutchman extends from page 1-81 and is followed by Notes by Bishop Colenso which are copious and extend to page 188. Appended are "The Zulu Military System" and "A Protest Against the Zulu War." 196 Pages in all. Staining of boards, cracking of spine, scattered foxing. Binding fair. Text good.
