This is a very good copy in the original gilt embossed green cloth from the prestigious Hosken library with his bookplate on the ffep., which has caused slight wrinkling of this page. There a second (earlier) ex libris on the front pastedown and a neat inscription on the verso of the ffep. The cloth binding is clean and bright with only very slight wear at the extremes of the spine. Both front and rear inner hinges have hairline cracks but the book remains tight. There is a small neat rubber stamp stating 'First Edition' on a preliminary blank. There is light foxing of the endpapers and first and last few pages but internally the pages are very clean. Altogether a nice and better than average copy of this title. One of only 750 copies published.
