First edition of this account of Bosman's experiences in prison. Inscribed on the front free endpaper "For Barnie Kramer/With my the compliments/ of the author/ H.C.Bosman/ 25/7/1949". Only three Bosman books were published during his lifetime and inscribed copies of his works seldom come on to the market. (Only three inscribed copies have been sold on Antiquarian Auctions in the nearly fifteen years since it's inception).
A good copy in the original grey cloth which has some wear at the extremes of the spine and some cracking of the rear outer joint, although the underlying mesh is intact, so that the volume remains tight.
