240 pages, profusely illustrated throughout with photographs, 5 plates of medals in colour, maps, silk place marker, bound in grey elephant hide with heavy brass edges, Rhodesian coat-of-arms, and a brass label engraved, \'Lieutenant General G.P. Walls, O.L.M.,D.C.D., M.B.E.\' mounted on the upper cover.
The brass edges of the upper cover are tarnished and the leather faded, the contents are bright.
Copy No. F. of an edition limited to 115 numbered copies, of which 1 to 100 are the Collector\'s Edition and A to O are Presentation Copies. As well as being signed by the author on the title page there is special presentation page signed by Ian Smith, and members of the government and heads of the armed services and police.
A number of the citations and photographs are also signed including that of Lieutenant Colonel Ron Reid-Daly.
