A fine copy of the 1st Edition of Olive Schreiner's popular second published and frequently republished book, Dreams. 1891. T. Fisher Unwin. Small 8vo. In the original attractive decorated bevelled boards. Top edge gilt and fore and lower edges uncut. With the dark green endpapers bright and unmarked. Internally the book is crisp and also unmarked. The tissue guard to the frontispiece portrait of Schreiner is slightly foxed but this has not offset on to the adjacent frontispiece or title page, and there is no foxing elsewhere. This book is not unduly rare but it is most uncommon in this great condition (see images).
