J. M. Coetzee is considered to be the most celebrated living author in the English speaking world. Among his string of awards are two Booker prizes (he has the unique distinction of being the first and only author two win this prestigious award twice) and the 2003 Nobel Prize for literature.

Dusklands was his FIRST book, published in Johannesburg in 1974.

Book is clean and square with white pages and only a small neat former owner's name on the half title page.

This copy is in the rarer olive brown variant binding.

Dust jacket is in fine condition with bright panels and no tears or marks.
