First edition, 8vo. iv, vi, [17]-352, 406, iv, vi, iv pp. A scarce volume of the early history of Western Pennsylvania. Bound in full leather, likely a later 20th century rebind, as the label seems transferred, tooled in gold. A very fine copy, with little to no foxing, that is mechanically sound and complete with both maps, which have been professionally conserved. Pencil inscriptions on first free flyleaf.
