Collector’s Edition, 180 pages, colour photographic frontispiece - Erica Tumida growing at 5,000 ft on a mountain in the Cold Bokkeveld north of Ceres, 167 colour plates, 2 further colour plates reproduced from Bauer\'s Delineations of Exotick Plants (1796) and Andrews\' Coloured Engravings of Heaths (1802), 2 black & white illustrations and sketch figures in the text, 2 maps - 1 folding, 2 portraits of Francis Guthrie and Harry Bolus to whom the book is dedicated, full green leather with a red title label on the spine (the spine is faded and slightly discoloured), signed by E.G.H. Oliver on the title page.

No. 286 of the Collector’s Edition limited to four hundred copies, signed by both the authors and the artists on a slip tipped onto the front free endpaper.
