A beautiful facsimile edition of an important, uncommonly available book by Thomas Baines F.R.G.S., a famous traveller, author, artist (and much more).  

Facsimile reprint of the uncommon original 1864 edition, with additional colour plates from Baines's paintings. Introduction by Frank R. Bradlow, F.R.G.S.

In 14/ leather and green cloth 19/90 in the Collectors' Edition 535 pp as new. Three  maps, numerous colour illustrations. Frontispiece: “The Motjohaara or Damara Mother Tree” Original Water colour by Thomas Baines. A facsimile reprint in wonderful condition.
