Scarce 20pp. pamphlet in the original blue decorated wraps. With a substantial 2pp. foreword by Chief Albert Luthuli. Also contains an early publication of The Freedom Charter of 1955. I have been unable to trace the author of the text of the pamphlet. Published by the South African Congress of Democrats (SACOD), an "organisation of white South Africans who are prepared to speak up against the doctrines of white supremacy and to campaign for a new South Africa, based on a democratic system, where men and women of all races will enjoy equal opportunities in all fields of South African Life". Published later in the same year of the Sharpeville massacre.
Luthuli introductions and other solo publications are few and far between. A fine copy.
