The slip case and binding are by master craftsman Peter Carstens.
The slip case is covered with hand marbled paper with leather trim. Red leather binding with a black title label on the spine with gilt titles, marbled paper boards matching the slip case. Decorated end papers. 343 pages. Several black and white illustrations, two scenic water-colour illustrations, a coloured map, 106 numbered colour plates, plus the extra four coloured plates for this edition.
CONDITION DETAILS: The slip case has a little wear and toning. There is a pen name on the front paste down. The spine has a small abrasion mark.
