Hardcover Octavo, Light brown Full Leather binding with 268 pages, and matching colour slipcase.

All edges gilt, gilt titling to the front cover and to the spine. Numerous black & white illustrations, frontispiece, city/town plans and 8 maps throughout the book. Slipcase is in very good condition.

Silk headband to the spine ends, with a gold silk ribbon bookmark attached. This edition is limited to 100 copies; this copy is No. 24 and is signed by the author.

This copy belonged to Barend du Plessis, who was the minister of Finance from 1984 to 1992 in the National Party Government. The binding and the book are in very good condition (As new).
