He ably describes all manner of big game, presenting them in alphabetical order from addax to Grant's zebra. The text is beautifully complemented by W.H. Riddell's coloured plates and life -size silhouettes of spoor. Included is a six page chapter titled “On Killing Elephant” by W.D.M. Bell
