Housed in a custom built slip case made by master craftsman Peter Carstens with green cloth covered boards, a pictorial inset on the side, hand marbled paper and leather trim.
Gillian Condy, who did the pen-and-ink drawings and 12 colour plates for this volume was awarded a gold medal for six of the original paintings used for this book at the Inaugural Kirstenbosch Exhibition of Botanical Art in February 2000.
