Gerard de Leeuw was a South African sculptor who was born in 1912. Many works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'Palm Sunday' sold at Strauss & Co., Johannesburg 'Important South African & International Art' in 2016 for $41,867. There have been many articles about Gerard de Leeuw, including 'Meteoric rise in value of artwork at Strauss and Co' written for South African Art Times in 2014. The artist died in 1985.

The text in Afrikaans. 127 pages. Number 109 of a limited edition of 500 copies. Signed by De Leeuw. This copy in good condition. A crack on outer frontal board just next to spine where pages fold open....see picture.
