Copy number 20 of the special Collectors' Edition limited to 100 signed copies, with a tipped in extra plate numbered and signed by Fay Anderson. This book was presented to the well known botanical author, Charles Craib. This Collectors' Edition is also signed by Peter Goldblatt and John Manning.
Original slip case with an inset illustration on the upper side and book cloth colouring to match the binding.
Original binding by Peter Carstens with dark green leather, gilt titling on the spine and a decorative device on the grey coloured book cloth on the upper board. Light cream coloured end papers with a raised floral device. 320 pages, the tipped in signed extra plate, a tipped in frontispiece, plus 144 full page colour plates and many black and white drawings, distribution maps, etc.
