Robert (Bob) Grimsdell was a prominent South African golfer, twice runner-up in the South African Open. But he is remembered mostly as a golf architect, designing over 20 of South Africa's major golf courses.
On offer is his scarce 95pp. softcover booklet "Golf in South Africa" in the original illustrated wraps. It is extensively illustrated with black and white photographs of South Africa's golf courses. I have traced a 1936 copy of this title but have been unable to find a copy, or reference to, this 1928 edition.
A very good unmarked copy in the original wraps. Early S. African golf publications are as a rule uncommon.
