This book is the scarce large format pre-war London printing. The later South African editions were all published in a smaller format. Original green cloth covered boards with gilt titling on the spine. 281 pages, 48 black and white photographic illustrations followed by 8 pages of the publisher's advertisements.
CONDITION DETAILS: The binding has a few minor marks, but is still in far better than average condition. There is a pen inscription written in French on the front free end paper dated 1935.
