Original red cloth boards with gilt titling on the spine and decorative blind stamped upper board. xv prelims, 548 pages, 41 black and white photographic plates and profusely illustrated with in text drawings, fold out map at the rear, followed by 5 pages of the publisher\'s advertisements. CONDITION DETAILS: The usual library stamps, stickers, etc. The spine is faded and has a library reference number written on it in white. Light foxing and soiling.
