64 pages, numerous illustrations printed on heavy cartridge paper, an additional auto-lintograph specially drawn for this book tipped-in at the front – numbered 73/150 and signed and dated by the artist in pencil, decorated endpapers, half blue morocco and paper sides by Zaehnsdorf,  contained in a cloth and paper slip case, some light foxing on the title page and three pages of Grigson’s comment, some insect scarring on the paper sides of the slip case, a good copy.

The Limited Edition of 150 Copies. Copies numbered 1 to 27 are signed by the artist, bound by Zaehnsdorf in full morocco, in a slip case, and contain in addition an original water-colour drawing.

Nos. 1 – 4 are not for sale. Odd numbers 5 to 27 are reserved for sale to subscribers in Great Britain and the British Empire. Even numbers 5 to 26 are reserved for sale to subscribers in other countries by the New York Graphic Society.

Copies numbered 28 to 150 are signed by the artist, and bound by Zaehnsdorf in half morocco, in a slip case.

Loosely inserted in the prospectus for the book. ‘The selection has been made by Moore himself, sometimes in collaboration with Geoffrey Grigson, who has contributed in introductory comment in the form of a poem of the same unique temper as the book. The artist supervised every stage of production and printing to ensure the preservation of that immediate and spontaneous atmosphere exuding from the actual note-books.’
