HET INSLUITEN VAN DE BOEREN-REPUBLIEKEN

Original green cloth, lettered in gilt on spine and upper board in each case; pp. xxvi + (ii) + 386, xi + (i) + 434, incl. index; folding chart and two large, folding maps at end of first volume; 'Naschrift van November 1919' loosely inserted to second volume.  Slight wear to spine ends,  no foxing, pages clean and bright.  Good condition. 

Dutch text.  (SABIB 3, p. 112)  "He completed the manuscript of Het insluiten van de Boeren-republieken in 1914 but owing to the war this work was only published in 1919.
