Original grey pictorial cloth boards with gilt titling on the spine and the upper board. Buff coloured end papers. 4 prelims, 407 text pages, profusely illustrated in black and white, followed by a large folding coloured map at the rear.
CONDITION DETAILS: The binding has some wear, but the hinges are cracked and if you look carefully at the image, you will notice a thin brown stripe made by the glue used to repair the upper hinge. Pen name on front free end paper.
