Very bright externally, with only the slightest rubbing to extremities; moderate foxing, which is rather more pronounced to the outer leaves. Good condition. (Hackett, p. 166; Mendelssohn I, p. 940) \'A well-written account of the siege and battles of Ladysmith, with a description of the relief, which, it is remarked, \"came at last with dramatic suddenness.\"\' - Mendelssohn.
