Czech (Kenneth) An Annotated Bibliography of Big Game Hunting Books 1785 - 1999 page 66: Combe, a member of the Rhodesian Mounted Police, arrived in Cape Town after the Great War. Besides his law enforcement duties, he managed to find time to hunt buffalo, rhino, hippo and antelope in the border country between Rhodesia and Portuguese East Africa.
