First edition. 8 volumes, all with black and white as well as colour illustrations, different colour cloth bindings over bevelled boards, with pictorial gilt on the upper covers and titled gilt on the spines, housed in a matching cloth slipcase, a fine set.
Each volume has a limitations page before the title page which stipulates that 1000 copies of the first edition of each title has been published. Each one has a different number and is signed by the editor and the artist.
