First edition xviii,475 pages, colour frontispiece opposite the half title page, 2 colour plates, numerous black and white drawings, brown moire silk end papers, faux leather skin maroon boards, gilt vignette of a rhino on the upper cover, titled gilt with gilt decoration on the spine, all edges gilt, a fine copy housed in a textured paper covered slipcase.
