Volume I, Parts 1 & 2 in one (with separate title pages): iv + (iv) + 39 partly coloured and 11 uncoloured lithographic plates. Plate 46 is misbound after plate 10. Plates 8, 11, 42, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58 & 98 are uncoloured as in all copies of this work. Recently bound in green cloth with gilt titling on the upper cover and spine. Some light foxing and age-browning on the page edges.
The complete work comprises three volumes with 300 plates. Four hundred sets were published of which half were for sale to the public. The two parts of volume I are sometimes found bound separately.
