Czech (Kenneth) An Annotated Bibliography of African Big Game Hunting Books, 1785 to 1999, page 204: A mining engineer, Moubray’s six years in the region were from 1903-08. While much of his narrative revolves around his non-sporting experiences, he does find time for jaunts along the Upper Kafue River after hippo, roan, eland and wildebeest. Near Kashiwa Lake, he hunted buffalo, lion and elephant. 'Big game shooting is certainly very fascinating for a little while, but the novelty soon wears off….There is always a certain amount of fun, however, with such animals as buffalo, elephant and lion.'
