New Hanover is a small town in the midlands of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. It was named after the city of Hanover in Germany by the Germans who settled there in 1850.

The Hermannsburg Mission Station was situated in the Umvoti district, Natal, and was the most important centre in the Zululand Mission.

This pocket book, printed on the Mission press, is a rare manual for Zulu teachers of Christianity.
