This is the wrappered edition of this very scarce booklet - by far the first book about Stern and no. 51 of the Junge Kunst series which also featured monographs on Picasso and Kandinsky, amongst others.The wrappers of this book are always fragile, and in this copy, the spine has been reinforced with book cloth. (see image). The rear wrapper has an ink stain. Otherwise a used but decent copy.
