Catalogue introduction comprises a re-print of a letter Welz wrote to his brother explaining that his paintings were “documents of his soul” and that his objective was to create “painterly poems”. A5 in size, card covers, 16 pages, numerous b/w plates. Paintings 29 to 46 are catalogued on a loose sheet as they were added after the initial catalogue was printed. All text in German.
