The five titles in this job-lot are:

1) Author's Post-War Guide - A clean and attractive copy. First edition published in 1947 with an attractive and intact dust jacket. The dust jacket has little edge wear and the spine is toned. Original grey coloured cloth boards with blue titling on the spine and the upper board. 143 pages followed by a page of the publisher's advertisements. Internally clean. A smaller book than average: 19 cm x 12,8 cm. Published by Allen and Unwin, London.

The remaining 4 titles were all published by Howard Timmins, Cape Town.

2) So Few are Free - Not dated. The dust jacket is worn and torn. Original blue coloured cloth boards with a dark navy blue title panel on the spine. Map motif decorated end papers. 250 pages. 12 black and white photographic illustrations. Ownership stamp on front free end paper. Some foxing/spotting, mainly on the first and last few pages.

3) Karoo - Stated First Edition, 1955. The dust jacket has creases and tears. Original brown cloth boards with gilt titling on the spine and the upper board. Map motif decorated end papers. 248 pages. Full page coloured frontispiece and 12 black and white illustrations, some by Dorelle. Paper toned, but internally clean.

4) Beyond the City Lights - Stated First Edition, 1957. The dust jacket is price clipped, has some edge chipping and a few closed tears. Original red boards with gilt titling on the spine. End papers decorated after Ann Keys. 240 pages. Full page coloured frontispiece and 11 black and white illustrations.

5) These Wonders to Behold - Stated First Edition, 1959. The dust jacket has some edge chipping and tears. Original white boards with red titling on the spine and the upper board. 237 pages, full page coloured frontispiece and 16 black and white photographic illustrations.
