Art Folio, is a limited/numbered edition of 250 subscribers' copies. This is no. 239. Handmade book, printed by Frank Read Press and signed by Read. Bound in red quarter leather, titled gilt with decoration on the spines, oatmeal buckram boards with decorative gilt Caldwell initials on the front cover and publisher's device blind-stamped on back cover, patterned endpapers, all edges dyed red. 

First edition. 260 pages, colour frontispiece of the artist, 7 colour plates, 2 maps, 21 of wash drawings and all the 'marginal' drawings from Jock of the Bushveld including the corrected versions of the dung beetle and the 'bank exploit'. 

This copy has the original box and is in mint condition.
