Total edition limited to 250 copies, signed by the publisher, of which copy numbers 241 to 250 are Special Presentation copies, of which this copy, Number 246, has Brian Marsh's name (hunting book author, etc.)on the upper boards in gilt. Original full red leather bindings with gilt tilting on the spines, a decorative device on the upper board and the ten Presentation Copies, such as this one, have a gilt name on the upper boards. All edges red. Volume one has 260 pages, profusely illustrated with full page washes, the "Jock" drawings and 8 full page colour plates. Volume two has xxvi prelims, 218 pages, some monochrome illustrations and 44 full page colour plates and 2 maps, one of which is double page. The colour printing is of the highest quality - a fine hand made book. CONDITION DETAILS: Good. The bindings have a few tiny black spots, which could be marks that came with the leather that was used, as this set remained in the boxes as posted by the publisher to Brian Marsh.
