8vo. letter headed sheet of paper of a Pretoria pharmacy which bears original autographs of the six members of this committee: C.R. Swart, F.C. Erasmus, J.H. Naude, D.G. Conradie, A. Hertzog and M.J. Vermeulen. Two of these (Swart and Naude) were subsequently to become State Presidents. Accompanied by a typed letter signed by the Committee Secretary P.J. Du Toit dated 23 Julie 1952, forwarding the signatures as requested. In the original Official printed Judicial Committee O.H.M.S. envelope (which is defaced on the rear). Also included is a contemporary newspaper photograph of this committee. The documents have folding creases and a small 3mm. stain below the last signature. Presumably unusual as such.
