First Edition Hardcover Octavo, bound in blue cloth boards with 349 pages.

Gilt titling to the spine only, light wear at spine ends. Head/heal are bumped/ rubbed with some minor wear along the corners/edges.

The book contains a black and white frontispiece (The Main Peak of Kilimanjaro) with a tissue guard, thirty black and white illustrations, and a fold-out map (Sketch Map of Mount Kilimanjaro).  

Previous owner's inscription on the front pastedown, also has some offsetting on the front/back pastedowns, light foxing can be seen throughout.

Overall, the book and the binding are in good condition.
