Please note that this copy is the ordinary standard edition that has been bound in the same style as the collector's edition. It is assumed that master craftsman Peter Carstens bound up this copy as a sample binding prior to to the date of publication to show the publishers a range of different colours. A few other copies, bound in different colours, are also known to exist.

Housed in a dark grey coloured cloth slip case with hand marbled paper and leather trim to match the dark blue leather binding with a red coloured title label on the spine and marble paper covered boards.

The front and rear end papers differ: The front end papers are grey coloured and the rear end papers are the same as the standard edition. 212 pages, 23 full page colour plates including the frontis piece, distribution maps, numerous black and white half tone illustrations.
