Signed by Hooper on front free endpaper. No. 403 of an edition limited to 500 copies. "Dedicated to all the members of I.P.A. South African section, who in noble spirits always strive to maintain the ideals of "Servo per Amikeco" (Service Through Friendship).

An account of the Southern African bush war by a journalist granted unrestricted access to the famous (or infamous) South West African Police Counterinsurgency Unit known as "Koevoet".
