"The mission of the Zambezi River" written by Theophile JOUSSE (1823-1890), former French missionary. With description of First and Second expedition led by Francois Coillard to the country of Banyais, expedition to the country of Matebeles and many others. Members of the expedition also visited Lobengula Khumalo (1845–1894), who was the second and last king of the Northern Ndebele people (historically called Matabele in English). Extremely rare copy of this precious work, hard to find even in National and University Libraries.
