[Hine, Lewis W.] Through the Threads. An Interpretation of the Creation of Beautiful Fabrics by The Shelton Looms. Photo-Studies by Lewis W. Hine. (New York: Sidney Blumenthal & Co., Inc., 1933). Portfolio containing 21 boards printed on recto, the first presenting the title and a blurb about the purpose of the publication, then 20 numbered images by Lewis Hine, each of a worker doing their job.

Wear to exterior of portfolio, weak folds and one chip in spine, as well as one missing internal flap. Contents are good. WorldCat record two copies. The copy in the Museum of Modern Art apparently has a 13-page booklet, which is not present here.
