Book Description: In Three Volumes. 1920. Blue boards. Ex libris. Vol I: xxvi + 326 pages + 3 illustrations and frontispiece. Vol II: xi + 346 pages + 2 illustrations and frontispiece. Vol III: xi + 413 pages + illustrations and frontispiece.
Book condition: All books have general wear and rubbing to the boards. Head and heel of the spine and corners of the boards are bumped. Some bumping to the edges. Spines are sunned. Spines are slightly cocked. Some light flaying to the head and heels of the spines and corners of the boards. Edges are dirty and worn. Pages slightly darkening towards the edges. All books have offsetting and foxing from the front paste downs to the title pages. All books have a water stain to the frontispiece next to the heel of the spine. Interior hinges slightly cracked but the books are still very much intact. Vol I has a picture of Lord Kitchener pasted to the front paste down. Newspaper clippings and a receipt pasted to the rear free end papers. Names and date to the front free end paper. Vol II has library sticker to the front paste down wrapping around to the front board. Name and date to the ffep. Picture of Lord Kitchener pasted to the rear paste down. Vol III has name and date to the ffep.
