204 pages, pink light  card wrappers (paperback) - slightly soiled and faded - with an Uncorrected  Proof stamp on the upper cover and without the illustrations in the published  version.

The last of the six books by Lawrence Green published in London after  World War II (his first six books were published in England before the War).

The book is a compilation of new chapters and chapters reprinted or re-worked  from Green's Howard Timmins titles. For example 'Cornell's Secret' is  reprinted from Something Rich and Strange (1962). 'Diamond Road' is re-worked  from So Few Are Free (1946).
